Size chart

When you're on a multi-day expedition or pushing class V, your dry suit can't be the weak link. The Hiko Odin Air4 is built around a four-layer waterproof, puncture-resistant shell with cordura reinforcement at the seat, knees, forearms and elbows — the four places paddlers actually wear suits out. Latex neck and wrist gaskets sit under soft neoprene cuffs for a perfect seal. The Double Pull waist locks to your sprayskirt's tunnel. Integrated cordura dry socks. Rear-entry TIZIP zipper. Hand-built in Czechia, backed by 30 years of Hiko whitewater craftsmanship.

It comes with the Air4 Repair Kit, that can prolong the life of a perfectly good suit, cut the repair cost to zero, change the two-way shipping to no shipping, and reduce the wait time to no time at all. Air4 Repair Kit is our way to think sustainably.   We also offer send in repair for gasket replacement and pressure tests!

+ The main body of the suit is made from Air4 material - Stays waterproof through abrasion that destroys 3-layer suits — designed for intensive whitewater, not lake paddling.

+ Hight wear areas (seat, knees, forearms and elbows) are reinforced with cordura for durability - The four areas a kayaker's suit fails first. Reinforced means a multi-season suit, not a one-season suit.

+ Latex wrists and neck gaskets for maximum dryness are further protected protected with soft neoprene cuffs - True dry seal at neck and wrists, with neoprene over the latex so it doesn't get nicked by rocks or PFD straps.

+ Rear entry TIZIP® waterproof zipper dry suit designed for extreme paddling - Industry-standard waterproof zipper. Rear entry keeps the seal away from your sprayskirt and PFD.

Ergonomically designed cut allows for shoulder mobility and comfort while paddling - designed for paddlers by paddlers.

+ Equipped with our "Double Pull" system where pulling forward on the waist tabs simultaneously tightens the front and back and is then secured via hook-and-loop on the front for a perfect fit. - Cinches front and back at the same time. Pairs with any whitewater sprayskirt for a zero-leak interface.

+ Front TIZIP® waterproof relief zipper - for relief when you need it that stays sealed.

+ Integrated cordura socks are durable and stay dry - No cold-water seep at the ankle. Walk-in-river durable, redesigned for easier entry.

+ Hand-built in Czechia - 30 years of Hiko craft. Not assembled in a factory shared with five other brands.

WHAT IS NEW?

Previously, the Cordura reinforcement was added on top of the functional material. On this model the Cordura itself is laminated with two membranes and becomes a functional part of the suit. There is no need to double material making the suit lighter without compromising durability. We also made the knee reinforcement larger to ensure coverage for a wider range of body types.

To further the comfortability we advanced the pattern again. The dry
socks have been redesigned for more comfort and durability - easier
entry / less bulking. We are also introducing new technology of taping.
The pattern of the upper torso has been adjusted to offer more
comfort in full extension of the arms.

WATERPROOF TEST

Every single dry suit goes through waterproof test.

Questions paddlers ask about the Odin Air4

Is the Hiko Odin Air4 right for whitewater AND packrafting?

Yes. The Odin is built for paddling — lightweight, fully waterproof, and reinforced with Cordura at the high-wear zones (elbows, knees, seat). Whether you're running whitewater, in a packraft, on a multi-day expedition, or rigging a raft, it's the same suit doing the job.

How does the Odin Air4 compare to the NRS Crux or Kokatat Meridian?

The Odin uses a rear-entry TIZIP zipper, which keeps the seal off your chest and out of the way of a PFD or sprayskirt — and gives you noticeably more range of motion than a front-entry suit. Compared to the Crux and Meridian, it's lighter weight at the same level of waterproofing, with Cordura laminated into the elbows and knees for added durability where paddlers actually wear suits out.

What is the difference between the Odin Air4 and the Odin Air4.X?

The Air4.X is the newer generation. It uses an upgraded multi-layer fabric, an improved cut for better range of motion, and new seam tape construction for even better long-term waterproofing.

How do I size the integrated dry socks for US shoe sizes?

The integrated Cordura dry socks run to these US shoe sizes:

  • Size S — US 6–9
  • Size M — US 9–12
  • Size L — US 9–12
  • Size XL — US 11–15
  • Size XXL — US 11–15

If your shoe size sits on the boundary between two suit sizes, contact us before ordering and we'll help you pick the right one.

What is your return / fit exchange policy?

We accept returns on unused items for refund or exchange. Outbound shipping costs aren't refundable, but the suit itself is — try it on at home, and if it doesn't fit, send it back.

Does this come with a relief zipper?

Yes — a relief zipper is included as standard.
